iPhone SE 4 Launch: Mark Gurman Reveals Exciting Details About This Affordable Smartphone
The iPhone SE 4 will be first generation of the SE series equipped with Apple’s advanced AI capabilities, Apple Intelligence, Mark Gurman says. Launch is expected within months.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman has some interesting information about the next Apple budget iPhone, the iPhone SE 4.
In his opinion, this smartphone may be the first generation of the SE series equipped with Apple’s advanced AI capabilities, known as Apple Intelligence. Such tools may include improved Writing capabilities, a new version of Siri with the option to integrate ChatGPT or programmes that generate pictures with AI help.
To support these features, the iPhone SE 4 will reportedly integrate the A17 Pro chip, similar to the iPhone 15 Pro, and feature at least 8GB of RAM. This would make it one of the most powerful affordable smartphones Apple has ever created.
Farewell To iPhone SE (2022)
Gurman’s report also states that Apple could cease production of the current iPhone SE (2022). Even as only limited stock is available in global markets currently, Apple is not manufacturing new units. This means that Apple is likely preparing to release the iPhone SE 4 sometime soon, maybe around late March or early April 2025.
According to various leaks, the upcoming smartphone could have an interface that resembles the iPhone 14, but will lack some newer features like the Action button. iPhone SE 4 price should remain under $500, but notably, this will be slightly higher than the current model costing $429.
An Exciting Step For Apple’s Budget Phones
You must know that these features are not official yet, but the credibility and reliability of Bloomberg columnist Mark Gurman make them believable. The iPhone SE 4 will also likely help Apple to remain in the comparatively affordable range of smartphones. This segment is mostly dominated by Samsung and a host of Chinese manufacturers like OnePlus, Vivo, Xiaomi, Oppo and some others.
