Rally in US stock futures was led by Nasdaq 100 futures, rising 0.65%, followed S&P futures were up around 0.23%, while Dow Jones climbed 0.06%.

The Nifty 50 closed 35.75 points, or 0.15%, lower at 24,435.95. The Sensex declined 187.90 points, or 0.24%, to 77,966.35.

The shares pared some losses to trade 3.38% lower at Rs 336 apiece, as of 12:55 p.m., compared to a 0.81% decline in the Nifty index.

Speaking on the CAS framework, Sebi Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey said the new system is a major micro-structure reform aimed at improving the reliability of closing prices and addressing shortcomings in the earlier VWAP-based mechanism.

Standalone revenue reaches a record Rs 11,795 crore, while Ebitda more than doubles and margin expands to 8.1% in the June quarter.

At the operating level, earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) grew 18.1% YoY to Rs 71.5 crore in Q1FY27, from Rs 60.6 crore in Q1FY26.

Over the last six months, TD Power Systems advanced 9.51%, with an absolute gain of Rs 77.79, while the three-month return stood at 6.29%, which is a rise of Rs 28.75.

Among sectors, Nifty IT index was the biggest loser with over 2% fall, followed by Nifty Realty, Nifty FMCG, Nifty Oil & Gas and Nifty Auto indices. On the flip side, Nifty PSU Bank and Nifty Metal indices were trading in the green.

As of 9:57 a.m., the shares pared some losses to trade 5% lower.
