The IT major is seeing a shift from experimentation to scaled AI adoption, helping clients modernise systems, reduce costs, and improve efficiency, adds the brokerage.

The IT major's FY26 revenue declined 2.4% YoY constant currency, highlights the brokerage.

Notably, in four of the five financial years preceding FY26, the company had already been witnessing only single-digit growth.

Even during the pandemic-affected fiscal 2021, TCS had managed a marginal growth of 0.6%.

TCS Q4 Result: The tech major posted modest sequential growth in the fourth quarter, with margins relatively flat at 25.3%.

TCS' quarter four newsflow was dominated by its deeper push into AI, with critical partnerships with the likes of OpenAI, AMD, ABB, Honeywell, ServiceNow, Nvidia, Cisco, Gitlab and Zscaler, among others.

TCS delivered a solid Q4 FY26 with profit recovery, healthy revenue growth and strong AI-led momentum, but a lower-than-expected final dividend tempered the overall picture.

In the previous quarter TCS reported a net profit of Rs 67,087 crore.
