Nifty PSU Bank rose 1.32%. Nifty Financial Services fell 1.66%, while Nifty Bank and Nifty Realty declined 1.30% and 1.25%, respectively.

Nifty IT rose 1.89%, followed by Nifty Auto at 0.68%. Nifty Financial Services and Nifty Private Bank gained 0.35% and 0.33%, respectively.

The broader market closed mixed. The Nifty MidCap 150 fell nearly 0.5%, with ITC Hotels down almost 5.5% and HDFC AMC falling over 4.5%. The Nifty SmallCap 250 ended flat.

The NSENifty 50 closed 0.09% or 22.80 points higher at 24,074.85, while the BSESensex rose 0.16% or 120.26 points to end at 77,175.20.

Nifty Realty was the worst-performing sector, down 1.97%. Nifty PSU Bank fell 1.80%, while Nifty Auto declined 1.61%. Energy and Media indices were marginally positive, gaining 0.04% and 0.21%, respectively.

Nifty Metal fell 1.13%, followed by Nifty Financial Services at 1.03% and Nifty Consumption at 0.98%. Nifty IT gained 0.53%, while Nifty Pharma rose 0.13%.

Nifty IT was the only sectoral loser, falling 1.88%. Nifty Consumption rose 0.9%, while Nifty Realty gained 0.84% and Nifty Energy advanced 0.79%.

The Nifty 50 closed 516.65 points, or 2.12%, lower at 23,882.05. The Sensex fell 1,677.12 points, or 2.15%, to 76,503.60.
