Businesses today are increasingly dealing with market volatility, operational complexity, and competition from artificial intelligence-native companies. Traditional workflows and fixed automation no longer meet most customer expectations because of escalating costs and demand for real-time adaptability. And it is here that agentic systems are helping bridge the gap while at the same time enabling employees to focus on more important activities like innovation and strategy.
To accelerate the development and adoption of AI agents and enable businesses to improve their processes using AI agents, Cognizant has announced its Neuro AI Multi-Agent Accelerator and Multi-Agent Service Suite.
Neuro AI Multi-Agent Accelerator
Neuro AI Multi-Agent Accelerator is a no-code development framework which includes a collection of pre-built, reference agent networks that enable businesses to prototype, customise and develop multi-agent systems. According to Cognizant, pre-built templates cover enterprise functions such as sales and marketing, finance, and investor relations, as well as industry-specific processes including supply chain management, customer service, and insurance underwriting.
Instead of designing everything from scratch, organisations can start with pre-built AI agent networks, reducing implementation time and technical risks. Additional agent networks can be created using natural language descriptions. Newly developed multi-agent networks can be integrated with pre-existing and other third-party agentic systems using APIs.
Multi-Agent Services Suite
The accelerator is part of a broader Multi-Agent Services Suite, which helps businesses create and deploy multi-agent systems using a standardised approach. These services help organisations redesign their business processes, develop and deploy intelligent agent systems, and manage them in production.
Agent responsibilities are built-in, which allows for automatic routing of tasks to the right AI agents, improving response times and reducing errors. Additionally, the suite allows large workloads to be managed by distributing tasks across multiple servers.
The suite further allows flexibility in AI and cloud provider choice, and enterprises can switch between open-source and commercial LLMs as well as private/public cloud providers without system rebuilds.
“AI agents are transforming enterprise operations through task automation and reducing manual effort, enabling employees to focus on strategic activities,” said Babak Hodjat, chief technology officer of AI at Cognizant. “Neuro AI Multi-Agent Accelerator and the Multi-Agent Service Suite allow clients to quickly build and deploy agents into the fabric of their organisation.”
