A young man was shot dead outside his house in Greater Noida on Tuesday in broad daylight. The victim, identified as Nitin, sustained critical bullet injuries and was rushed to a hospital, where he later died.
The incident took place under the Ecotech-1 police station limits around 10 am.
The attack was captured on CCTV cameras. In a video, three men approached Nitin near his residence, confronted him, and opened fire at close range before fleeing within seconds. The attack took place in a lane where children were playing, leaving bystanders terrified.

The injured man was immediately rushed to a hospital, however, he scummbed to injuries treatment.
Police said the killing appeared to be the result of an ongoing dispute. Nitin reportedly had a conflict with some villagers, and the main attacker, identified as Sachin, along with his associates, allegedly carried out the shooting.

Senior police officer Sudhir Kumar, ADCP, Greater Noida, told news agency ANI, "Sachin and his associates opened fire on Nitin, a resident of Luksar village, under the jurisdiction of the Ecotech First police station, due to an old rivalry. Police officers are present at the scene. Peace and order have been established. Further legal action is underway."

The CCTV footage showed Nitin walking along the street when three men suddenly appeared at the entrance of the lane. Armed with guns, they moved quickly towards him. A woman standing near a gate was seen screaming in terror as one of the assailants pointed a gun at her. Nitin attempted to escape, but he was hit by multiple bullets and collapsed on the road.

A relative of Nitin told news agency IANS, "In the morning, Nitin stepped out of his house after bathing, unaware of what was happening outside. Four to five people fired at him, and when he managed to escape the gunfire, a boy attacked him with a knife..."

Following the attack, a forensic team inspected the crime scene to collect evidence. Police have registered a case and launched raids to trace the remaining accused. Two suspects have been taken into custody for questioning, and heavy police deployment has been made in the village to maintain law and order.
