Biocon'S Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw remains optimistic about the company's growth prospects for the second half of FY27, citing strong momentum in its insulin portfolio and biosimilars business. She expects a very strong H2 performance, supported by increased contributions from insulin products and potential progress on a $400 million Product Development Partnership (PDP) contract in Brazil. Mazumdar-Shaw said the company remains on track to deliver its guided 20% margin growth for FY27. While the base of the generics business remains relatively small, Biocon's APIs and formulations businesses are performing well, with biosimilars continuing to emerge as a key long-term growth driver.
