At a massive job fair on Wednesday at Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru College in Faridabad, more than 400 positions were on offer, with the highest package offered at Rs 12 lakh annually.
This job fair was organised in partnership with AIM World Edutech and aimed at students from government colleges in the Faridabad, Palwal, and Nuh districts. The initiative sought to create direct employment opportunities and connect students with industry demands. Colleges prepared their final-year students through specialized training sessions concentrating on interview readiness and crafting resumes.
Along with immediate interviews and placement events, the occasion included resume development workshops, personality enhancement sessions, and assistance on skill improvement.
According to Hindustan, the renowned companies providing these prospects featured Concentrix, TVS, Hindustrix, Axis India, Fortis, ZIT, Wise, Pittern, VAL, Skybridge, BSFI, Travel News Services, Plaris, Leader, OPN, Garden, iPoint, Ilasha, and Healthians.
Student who received the biggest package
Tanmeet Singh, an undergraduate student at Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru College, snagged the top package of Rs 12 lakh yearly from Ayan Company in Dubai, signifying his inaugural job placement.
Companies Offering jobs
A total of 21 companies from various fields such as IT, BPO, sales, security, healthcare, e-commerce, and automotive were present at the job fair. Recruiters performed written tests and in-person interviews, offering job prospects to more than 1,500 undergraduate and postgraduate students from 16 colleges, as reported by NDTV, quoting Jagran.
