Kedar Prasad Gupta of the Bharatiya Janata Party back in lead again in Kurhani. He is ahead by 482 votes against Sunil Kumar Suman of the Rashtriya Janata Dal after round 14 of counting.

Mahagathbandhan's chief ministerial face and RJD's de-facto chief Tejashwi Yadav is still trailing in Raghopur, which is seen as the party's bastion and safest seat. He is behind the BJP's Satish Kumar by 4,829 votes. The counting of votes is still underway.

Mahagathbandhan, or the grand alliance of the RJD, Congress, Left parties and Vikassheel Insaf Party, is cumulatively struggling to cross the 40-seat mark. As per the latest trends, the coalition has taken leads in only 38 seats, whereas the ruling NDA has surged to 198 seats. The counting of votes is still underway.

Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan has shined in this election. Having bargained hard to get 29 constituencies, he appears to have proved his mettle by leading in 21 - a strike rate of 72%.
