The second ODI between Pakistan and Bangladesh at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur, witnessed a rather unusual run out. It all began when Salman Ali Agha appeared to reach for the ball to help the bowler, instead of making his way back to the right side of the crease at the non-striker's end.
Bangladesh captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz, meanwhile, wasn't in need of any help, and refused the spontaneous act of generosity in spectacular fashion leaving Agha aghast.
The incident occurred in the 39th over when Mohammad Rizwan punched a length ball back down the ground. Mehidy skipped across and stopped the ball with his foot while Agha attempted to return to the crease but was briefly impeded by that movement from the bowler.
As the ball came to a halt, Agha completely abandoned his quest to make it back to safety and instead appeared to bend down to help retrieve the ball. Mehidy though wasn't in the mood to receive any favours as he was first to the ball and quickly reacted to turn back and hit the stumps with an accurate underarm throw.

The Bangladesh captain immediately appealed for the run out and his teammates followed suit, while Agha watched on with a look of bewilderment on his face as his fate was left in the hands of the Third Umpire. Upon reviewing the replays, Third Umpire Kumar Dharmasena calmly noted that the batter was outside his crease when the wicket was broken, ruling Agha out.
Agha, who had scored 64 off 62 balls, let his emotions show after the decision and seemed to offer a few lessons in ‘good' manners to the Bangladesh players as he angrily trudged off the field.
Pakistan were motoring along nicely until that wicket, with Aga and Rizwan stitching together a 109-run partnership off just 115 balls. However, their innings then unravelled quickly, collapsing from 231/3 to 274 all out after losing their final seven wickets for just 43 runs.
