HDFC Bank Dividend 2025: Check Amount, Record Date, Payment Date And Other Key Details

HDFC Bank Ltd. is scheduled to finalise the eligibility of shareholders for its final dividend soon. The record date for HDFC Bank's final dividend falls this week. The Board of Directors of HDFC Bank had announced a final dividend in April while declaring the results for Q4 and FY25.

HDFC Bank Dividend 2025

In its exchange filing dated April 19, HDFC Bank said that its Board of Directors recommended a dividend of Rs 22 per equity share of a face value of Re 1 each for FY25. 

"The Board also recommended a dividend of Rs. 22 per equity share of Re. 1/- each fully paid up (i.e., 2200 %) for the FY 2024-25," the filing said. 

The record date for determining the eligibility of members to receive the final dividend is June 27. 

HDFC Bank Dividend 2025 Payment Date

HDFC Bank said that if the dividend is approved by the shareholders at the Annual General Meeting, it shall be paid on or after Aug. 11. 

"... Please note that dividend, if approved by the shareholders of the Bank at the AGM, shall be paid on or after Monday, August 11, 2025," the largest private lender said in an exchange filing dated June 20.

HDFC Bank Q4 Results 2025

The bank's net profit increased 6.7% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 17,616.14 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 16,511.85 crore in Q4 FY24. Total income rose 0.17% YoY to Rs 89,487.99 crore on Q4 FY25 from Rs 89,639 crore in Q4 FY24. Total expenditure grew 4.3% YoY to Rs 62,951.29 crore in Q4 FY25 from Rs 60,364.76 crore in Q4 FY24.

HDFC Bank Dividend History

HDFC Bank announced a final dividend of Rs 19.5 in 2024. Before that, it announced a final dividend of Rs 19 in 2023, Rs 15.50 in 2022 and Rs 6.5 in 2021.

Shares of HDFC Bank were trading 0.81% lower at Rs 1,948.80 apiece on the NSE at 10:26 a.m., while the benchmark Nifty50 stood at 24,883.25, down 0.91%.
