The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) will announce the Madhyamik Class 10 results today (May 8) at 10:15 a.m. The announcement will be made at a press conference attended by the school education minister, education secretary, and senior officials from the WBBSE.
Once the results are declared, students can view their WB Board Class 10 mark sheets on the official websites, including wbbse.wb.gov.in and wbresults.nic.in. The results will also be available on DigiLocker for digital access.

Step 2: Select the link for the WBBSE Madhyamik Result.
Step 3: Hit the login button.
Step 4: Input your roll number and additional credentials.
Step 5: The WBBSE 10th results will be showcased.
Step 6: Download marksheet for future reference.
WBBSE 2026: Minimum passing marks & exam details
Students are required to achieve a minimum of 272 points from a total of 800 to succeed overall (33%). They must also surpass the basic subject-specific criteria in every paper.

A total of 9,71,340 candidates took the examination. All exams were held in a single shift from 10:45 a.m to 2:00 p.m, with the initial 15 minutes designated for reading the question paper.
WBBSE Results: Pass percentage in 2025
Last year, the West Bengal board announced the results for Class 10 on May 2. The examination took place from February 10 to February 22, 2025. The cumulative pass rate for the West Bengal Madhyamik examination in 2025 reached 86.56%.
In 2024, WBBSE declared the results on May 2. The overall pass rate stood at 83.61%.. A total of 9,12,598 candidates took the examination, of which 7,65,252 candidates succeeded.
