The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared the Class 12 board exam results for 2026 today, May 13, as a senior official announced that over 85% candidates have cleared the exams this year. The results show that the overall pass percentage dipped by over three percentage points compared to the last year.
Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj said that while more than 85% of the students have passed the exams, over 94,000 students scored above 90% marks. Further, 17,000-plus candidates secured more than 95 per cent score, according to Bhardwaj.
He said over 1.63 lakh students have been placed in the compartment category, marking an increase of nearly two percentage points from last year. Girls once again outperformed boys in the examinations, recording a pass percentage of more than 88, while for boys, it stood at 82.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the class 12 results on May 13. DigiLocker confirmed the same via an X post at around 1:30 PM today, providing a significant relief to all students of Class 12.
In class-XII, there are two components to the assessment. First component is Practical or the Internal Assessment and Second component is theory examinations.
The students are assessed out of maximum 100 marks for each subject. As per the policy of the Board, 20/30/40/50/70 marks are for Practical/ Internal Assessment and 80/70/60/50/30 marks are for theory examinations conducted by the Board.

The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has officially declared the Class 12 Result 2026 on May 13. This year, out of the total 2,65,417 students who appeared for the Punjab Board Class 12 examinations, 2,42,755 students have successfully passed the exams, taking the overall pass percentage to 91.46%.

Students can download their marksheets, migration certificate and pass certificate from CBSE's official academic repository “Parinam Manjusha”.
Over 18 lakh students, including about 10.2 lakh boys and 8.3 lakh girls, appeared for the CBSE Class 12 exam this year. The result is likely to be announced in some time.
CBSE will not hold any press conference related to CBSE 12th result 2026. The result will be announced on its official website along with the data.

Last year's pass percentage for Class 12 stood at 88.39 per cent. Simultaneously, the CBSE Class 10 results for 2026 were released on April 15, 2026. This year, a total of 2,471,777 candidates took part in the Class 10 examinations, with 2,316,008 students achieving success.
Students across the country are continuing to wait for the Central Board of Secondary Education to announce the CBSE Class 12 board exam results for 2026. More than 18 lakh students are expected to receive their marks this year, but the board has not yet officially confirmed when the results will be declared.
