Students across the country are continuing to wait for the Central Board of Secondary Education to announce the CBSE Class 12 board exam results for 2026. More than 18 lakh students are expected to receive their marks this year, but the board has not yet officially confirmed when the results will be declared.
The anticipation only grew further after DigiLocker posted a “Class 12 results coming soon” update on its official social media handles and website. The update drew attention from students who have been repeatedly checking online portals for any official confirmation regarding the result date and time.

Many students have also questioned the unclear timeline and have been asking authorities to share a fixed date instead of giving vague updates.

The delay in confirmation has kept students glued to official websites and social media platforms for updates.
In previous years, CBSE has largely followed a mid-May schedule for announcing Class 12 board results. The 2025 Class 12 results were declared on May 13, while the 2024 results were also released on May 13. In 2023, the board announced the results on May 12.
The 2022 academic session followed a different timeline due to the pandemic. Therefore, the results were declared in July. Since then, the board has returned to its usual exam and result cycle.
Students waiting for the CBSE Class 12 Result 2026 are being advised to continue checking official portals, including cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in and DigiLocker for the latest updates as the result might be out tomorrow.
