Mercedes-Benz Announces Rs.200 Crore Investment In India
Mercedes-Benz India has announced an additional investment of Rs 200 crore in 2026 towards manufacturing operations, digitisation and new product programmes. With the latest investment, the company's cumulative investment in India has reached Rs 3,200 crore, which Mercedes-Benz says is the highest among luxury carmakers operating in the country.
The electric GLC is being manufactured on the same assembly line as the company's internal combustion engine models at Chakan.
