New Delhi: IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company on Friday said its Board will meet next week on June 18 to consider additional fund raising options.
It operates in infrastructure development, construction and project management space and executes projects in sectors such as buildings and structures, roads, railways, irrigation, power, ports, and oil and gas.
In a BSE filing, the firm said, "A meeting of the Board of Directors of the company will be held on June 18, 2015, inter alia, to consider additional fund raising options for the company."
In April, IL&FS Engineering and Construction Company said it has won a Rs 327-crore contract from Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation (BMRCL).
For the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2015, the firm posted a standalone net profit of mere Rs 85 lakh against a net profit of Rs 33.59 crore in the year-ago period.
Total standalone income was also down at Rs 583.56 crore against Rs 830.25 crore in the reported quarter.
The company's shares on Friday fell 0.37 per cent to settle at Rs 68 apiece on the BSE.
