  • Iranian state TV aired a video threatening Barron Trump with a $10 million reward for targeting him
  • The clip detailed Barron Trump's movements and claimed he was monitored and vulnerable on Xbox
  • A prior video targeted Melania Trump, showing her locations and suggesting poisoning her clothes

Iranian state television has broadcast a video describing potential ways to reach US President Donald Trump's son, Barron Trump, while announcing a $10 million (which is over Rs 95 crore in INR) reward in an unusual direct threat to the president's family.

The video, released by IRGC-affiliated media and broadcast on Channel 3 of Iranian state television, is titled "Where to Kill Barron Trump". It describes and visually depicts the 20-year-old's movements.

The clip claimed that Barron Trump is "fully monitored" and alleged that a girl had previously bypassed the Secret Service and sat next to him during a private meeting.

It further claimed that Barron communicates via voice and text on Xbox away from his security detail and that his accounts on Xbox, FIFA video games and Discord had been uncovered.

Previous Video Targeted First Lady

The latest video follows another broadcast by Iranian state television last month that openly targeted US First Lady Melania Trump.

Titled "Where to Kill Melania", the video showed images of the first lady travelling in her motorcade and visiting locations across New York City. It also identified luxury designer stores where she is known to shop.

The video suggested that these shopping trips could be "suitable for operations by global freedom fighters" and went further by proposing the use of a nerve agent to poison clothes she might purchase.

By the end of that video, the focus shifted to Barron Trump and concluded with a direct warning: "This is just the beginning. Barron Trump, wait for us."

Melania Trump and Barron Trump both receive round-the-clock protection from the US Secret Service. Trump properties, including the White House, Trump Tower in New York, the Bedminster golf club in New Jersey and the Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, are also heavily secured, according to a report by the New York Post.

The latest video comes as Donald Trump said on Monday that Iran was "collapsing", while Washington prepared to announce details of a new economic pressure campaign that Tehran has described as an admission of defeat.

Trump's post on Truth Social came hours after US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, writing in a Financial Times column, declared that an "economic D-Day" had begun against Tehran.

Bessent warned that any country continuing to enable the Islamic Republic would become a "global pariah".

Iran responded defiantly, saying the latest US measures amounted to an admission of military defeat and warning other countries against assisting Washington.
