Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has declared that Russia and China are aiding Iran with "military cooperation" and other methods for the Middle Eastern conflict. Both countries are the ‘strategic partners' of Iran at a time when it is in friction with the United States of America and Israel.

Araghchi, in an interview with MS NOW, said, “China and Russia are Iran's strategic partners, and providing cooperation in the conflict. That includes military cooperation.” “In the past we had close cooperation, which continues to this day, and this also includes military assistance,” Araghchi said. “We had good cooperation with these countries—politically, economically, even militarily,” he added.

Araghchi also declined on the full operation of the Strait of Hormuz soon, while stating that, "Iran has no intention of fully opening the Strait of Hormuz." Explaining the shortage and rise in fuel prices, he further said in the interview the impact of a recent US attack on its military installations on Kharg Island, through which 90 per cent of Iran's oil exports flow.

Showing the strength of the country's military troops, he claimed, “I think our armed forces have already answered that they would retaliate if our oil and energy infrastructure are attacked. And they will attack any energy infrastructure in the region, which belongs to an American company or an American company is a shareholder. So the reaction would be clear.”

He blamed the UAE for launching attacks on Tehran with the US from its territory. “It is clear that they are fired from the UAE,” he said, adding it was dangerous to use highly populated areas to launch rockets against Iran.
