In an effort to guarantee a safe and hassle-free journey, Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has called on pilgrims to obtain legal Hajj permits through authorised channels and adhere to all requirements.
The ministry emphasised that permits must be obtained through authorised channels to ensure a planned journey from arrival to the completion of rites, stating that the Hajj visa is the sole legitimate visa allowing its holder to complete the pilgrimage.
"Obtaining a Hajj Visa and an official permit are mandatory for performing Hajj and entering the Holy Sites," the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah posted on their official X handle, adding that other visit visas do not authorise Hajj.

An official added that following permit requirements supports an integrated system for crowd control and mobility while allowing pilgrims to fully benefit from services offered at the holy sites.

The ministry further cautioned pilgrims not to interact with unauthorised channels or fraudulent offers offering unapproved permits or visas, pointing out that doing so could prohibit them from doing the Hajj or subject them to legal repercussions.
It further stated that getting permits through the proper procedures guarantees service access and makes the Hajj experience safe, effective, and well-run.
