Samsung is all set to host the first major Galaxy Unpacked event of 2026 to introduce the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S26 series, along with the Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro.  The event is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 25, and will take place in San Francisco.

Those planning to watch it live can visit the official website at Samsung.com or steam it on the company's official YouTube channel. Notably, the event starts at 10 a.m. PT, 1 p.m. EST, 6 p.m. GMT, 7 p.m. CET, and 11:30 p.m. IST. 

Indian customers can secure their spot by paying a refundable token amount of Rs 999, while pre-reservation will make them eligible for exclusive benefits worth Rs 2,699 upon the final purchase of the ‘Next AI Phone'. 

The pre-reserve window started on Feb. 11 and ends at 11:59 PM on Feb. 24. 

Earlier, it was reported that registration gives user a $30 credit for accessories or other Samsung products during pre-order, along with automatic entry into a sweepstakes to win a $5,000 gift card.  

Some of the other additional perks include up to $900 in savings with eligible trade-ins as well as up to $150 off even without trading in when you pre-order on Samsung.com. 

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2026: What To Expect? 

A major highlight of the Feb. 25 event remains the upcoming Galaxy S series smartphones. It is expected that the Korean tech major can launch the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus, and Galaxy S26 Ultra models. These will be packed with upgraded AI-integrated features. 

Recently, Samsung teased the all-new Privacy Display feature for the Galaxy S26 series that reduces visibility from side angles to help prevent others from viewing the screen content.  

Besides this, the smartphone maker has even teased major enhancements in zoom capabilities as well as improved performance in low-light conditions. 

Screen: The base Galaxy S26 smartphone is projected to include a 6.3-inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, while the Galaxy S26 Plus would most likely have a 6.7-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate.

It reaches to 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with QHD+ resolution on the Ultra model along with a 120Hz refresh rate. 

Camera: It is being said that the camera hardware specifications will remain largely unchanged. This means, that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra's rear camera setup could feature a 200MP main sensor along with 50MP ultrawide lens, a 10MP telephoto lens and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, paired with a 12MP front-facing camera.  

On the other hand, the standard Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus models will probably retain a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 10MP 3x telephoto lens. 

The Galaxy S26 lineup could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset in several global markets or the Exynos 2600 in specific regions. They should include at least 12GB of RAM, while the Ultra model potentially going up to 16GB in higher configurations.  

There are possibilities that storage options Might shift, with the 128GB base tier to be discontinued in favour of 256GB as the new entry-level capacity.

Battery: There will be slight increase in the battery capacities. The standard model potentially features around 4,300mAh and it goes up to 4,900mAh in the Plus model and 5,000mAh in the Ultra model. 

Meanwhile, latest leak on Galaxy Buds 4 Pro suggest that the TWS earbuds could feature head gestures, camera remote controls, and an upgraded Find My Phone shortcut.
