Google Pixel 10 Specs Confirmed In FCC Filing — Base Model To Miss Some Connectivity Features

With just a month to go for the Made by Google event on Aug. 20, where Google is expected to unveil its all-new Pixel 10 range, buzz around the lineup continues to build steadily. The Pixel 10 series is reported to include the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold.

While there has been a continuous flow of leaks and rumours, the most recent news comes through Google’s regulatory documents with the Federal Communications Commission.

The FCC website this week revealed the model numbers for the upcoming series, Pixel 10 (GLBWO, GL066, GK2MP), Pixel 10 Pro (G4QUR), and Pixel 10 Pro XL (GUL82), and disclosed key details about some of the Pixel 10 specs.

The official filing for the standard Pixel 10 highlights connectivity options such as wireless charging and Wi-Fi 6E, indicating the base model will lack Thread compatibility and ultra-wideband connectivity. Additionally, there are indications of a modem manufactured by Samsung.

With regard to the XL model, the FCC documentation verifies specs such as Wi-Fi 6E, wireless charging, Thread compatibility, and UWB. Google is likely to use the Samsung modem in the XL model as well.

The FCC filing of all three models also indicates satellite connectivity, also referred to as NTN (non-terrestrial network) connectivity, which was expected since the Pixel 9 series also provides the feature.

Another recent report disclosed Pixel 10 prices in Europe, suggesting they would be similar to that of the Pixel 9 series.

The Pixel 10 series is expected to be powered by the Tensor G5 chipset. The standard model is likely to include a telephoto camera, and all models might be equipped with a tele-macro lens. A recent Chinese listing also hints at a triple rear camera set for the Pixel 10 Pro.

Leaked specifications further indicate larger batteries packed inside both the base Pixel 10 and XL variants.
