In an interaction with NDTV Profit, Nitin Rakesh, CEO and Aravind Viswanathan CFO of Mphasis said markets have misread the IT sector's prospects, highlighting significant opportunities in scaling artificial intelligence solutions. The management noted that AI adoption contributed meaningfully to Q2 performance and expects the momentum to continue despite elevated competition and macro uncertainty. While short-term AI spending cycles are accelerating, enterprises are also reallocating discretionary budgets toward AI-led transformation. Mphasis remains focused on growth investments, particularly in sales and client engagement, while keeping margins under control and positioning itself to benefit from the long-term AI adoption trend.
