(Bloomberg) -- Equity hedge funds gained 2.1 percent last month, making them the best performers, according to a report by Hedge Fund Research.
Hedge funds on average returned 0.8 percent in May on an asset-weighted basis, said the report on Thursday. Macro strategies were the worst performers, losing 0.3 percent.
