Cochin International Airport Ltd (CIAL) reported its highest-ever annual profit in FY26, crossing the Rs 500-crore mark for the first time, according to a PTI report. Investors will be watching the airport operator's revenue growth, dividend payout and plans to expand into airport consultancy as India's aviation infrastructure sector continues to grow.

CIAL To Enter Airport Consultancy
Alongside its financial performance, CIAL has approved plans to enter the airport consultancy business. The company plans to leverage its experience in airport development and operations to provide specialised services to airports across India.
The proposed consultancy business will cover areas including airport master planning, runway development, cargo infrastructure, ground handling, duty-free operations, commercial development and real estate management.
The move comes as India prepares for significant expansion in aviation infrastructure. CIAL expects the consultancy business to create additional revenue opportunities while allowing the airport operator to utilise its expertise beyond its own airport operations.
