Bharat Forge Q4 Results: Net Profit Down 17.5%, Final Dividend Declared — Check Record Date

Forgings and defence equipment major Bharat Forge Ltd. reported their consolidated results for the Q4FY26 on Thursday with net profit declining even as revenue and operating earnings rose on a year-on-year basis. The company posted a net profit of Rs 233 crore for the quarter, down 17.5% from Rs 282 crore in the corresponding period last year. However, revenue from operations increased 17.5% to Rs 4,528 crore, compared with Rs 3,853 crore a year earlier.

The Ebitda rose 14.1% to Rs 778 crore, against Rs 681 crore in the year-ago quarter. However, the Ebitda margin narrowed slightly to 17.2% from 17.7%. Bharat Forge reported a one-time loss of Rs 98.7 crore, impacting overall profit for the quarter. 

Alongside the quarterly earnings, Bharat Forge's board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 6.50 per equity share of face value Rs 2 each, equivalent to 325%, subject to approval of the members of the Company at the ensuing Annual General
Meeting of the Company. The Final dividend, if approved by the members, will be paid on or after Friday, August 14, 2026. 

Bharat Forge said it incurred a total exceptional outgo of Rs 98.73 crore in the fourth quarter due to impairment of investment in subsidiary, impact of labour code and incidental expenses on restructuring of its German arm, Bharat Forge CDP GmbH.

Additionally, the Board of Directors of Bharat Forge have approved the re-appointment of Ashish Bharat Ram as Non-Executive Non-Independent Director of the Company for a term of five consecutive years with effect from Sept. 1, 2026 to August 31, 2031, subject to approval of members of the Company via Ordinary Resolution in the ensuing AGM, the company said in its regulatory filing.
