As geopolitical tensions escalated in the Middle East amid the ongoing USA-Israel-Iran conflict, several Indian celebrities found themselves stranded abroad. From Esha Gupta to Lara Dutta, many Bollywood actors were either stuck in Dubai or separated from their families. Actor Vivek Oberoi has now spoken about how the crisis affected him personally.

While most people were desperate to leave Dubai, Oberoi was trying just as urgently to get into the city. The actor, who often refers to the UAE as his second home, was in India shooting for his upcoming film Spirit while his family remained in Dubai.

Oberoi discussed his business ventures in Dubai, the regional conflict, and the emotional moment he reunited with his children.

Business In Dubai

"The storm does not disturb the fish in the deep sea. While the world outside views us through a lens of distortion, the reality on the ground is very different. Dubai isn't just functioning - it has shifted into a higher gear," Oberoi told FirstPost.

He added that the city's markets and offices are buzzing with activity, driven by a collective sense of purpose.

"We aren't just open for business; we are a global benchmark for progress and stability. Our companies are not merely surviving - they are adapting and evolving, mirroring the UAE's unshakeable spirit."

Reunion With Kids

Recalling his reunion with his kids, the actor described the relief he felt: "The moment I landed in Dubai and saw my kids, the weight of the world just fell away. They were laughing over a board game - a scene of profound, calm normalcy."

He said the UAE's leadership has created an environment where families feel secure and children can "simply be children."

Regional Tensions

When asked whether the regional conflict created safety concerns, Oberoi said that people outside the Middle East often misunderstand the situation: "They mistake the precision of caution for fear. In reality, the UAE leadership deserves immense recognition."
