Bajaj Auto has launched the new Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 125 in India, bringing an all-new engine and gearbox, monoshock suspension, three riding modes and connected features to two of its long-running motorcycles. The new Pulsar 150 starts at Rs 1,15,233, while the Pulsar 125 is priced from Rs 92,900, both ex-showroom Delhi. The new motorcycles retain the familiar Pulsar design while receiving significant mechanical and technology upgrades.
New Pulsar 150 And 125: Engine And Performance
The Pulsar 150 gets a new 149.5cc engine producing 14 PS at 8,500rpm and 13.7 Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. The Pulsar 125 uses a 124.58cc engine producing 12 PS at 8,000rpm and 11 Nm at 6,000rpm. Bajaj claims the Pulsar 125 is the most powerful motorcycle in the 125cc segment. Both bikes also get an updated gearbox aimed at improving low-speed pulling ability and reducing clutch usage in lower gears.The motorcycles feature three ride modes — Road, Rain and Sport which Bajaj says are designed to offer greater control across different riding conditions.

New Chassis, Monoshock And Technology
The new Pulsars get a diamond-type frame, with the engine also acting as a structural member. They feature a nitrogen gas-charged monoshock suspension at the rear, which Bajaj says is aimed at improving handling and stability. Higher variants get a 5-inch TFT console with Google Maps mirroring, navigation, call and message alerts, music controls and the option to store vehicle documents. The bikes also get Crawl Tech, a feature designed to make low-speed riding easier in traffic. Bajaj has also added an Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) to the top three variants, with an automatic start-stop function aimed at improving fuel efficiency.
Design And Colours
The motorcycles retain the signature Pulsar styling but get a redesigned LED headlamp, sharper rear section and new tail lamps. The Pulsar 150 is offered in Sapphire Blue, Ebony Black Ink Blue, Ebony Black Magenta Red, Fury Red and Pearl Metallic White. The Pulsar 125 gets Dark Silver, Ebony Black Cyan Blue, Ebony Black Magenta Red, Fury Red and Sapphire Blue. The Pulsar 150 range goes up to Rs 1.23 lakh, while the top Pulsar 125 variant is priced at Rs 1,04,318, according to Bajaj Auto's launch details.
