Ajay Devgn is returning as Vijay Salgaonkar for one last time. The actor announced on Monday that the third film in the Hindi Drishyam franchise will be titled Drishyam: The Conclusion. The final chapter is set to release in theatres on October 2, 2026.
Ajay unveiled the title with a new poster carrying the line, “Har insaan ka nazariya alag hota hai… mere liye meri family hi sab kuch hai.”, highlighting Vijay's strong belief that his family comes before everything else.

What To Expect From Final Chapter?
Ajay will reprise his role as Vijay Salgaonkar, with Tabu returning as IG Meera Deshmukh and Shriya Saran as Nandini. Rajat Kapoor is also back, while Prakash Raj and Jaideep Ahlawat have joined the cast in new roles.
The film is directed by Abhishek Pathak, who also directed Drishyam 2. He has co-written the film with Aamil Keeyan Khan and Parveez Shaikh. Star Studio18 and Panorama Studios are backing the project, while Alok Jain, Ajit Andhare, Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak are producing it. The shooting has been completed, and the film is currently in post-production phase.
The first-look teaser, released in December 2025, offered a glimpse into Vijay's mindset, as he made it clear that despite the many labels attached to him, his family remains his only priority, saying: “Mera sach aur mera sahi, meri family hai.”

The Franchise' Journey So Far
The Hindi Drishyam franchise began in 2015 as a remake of Mohanlal's Malayalam film. The first movie earned around Rs 110 crore worldwide. Its sequel, Drishyam 2, released in 2022 and became an even bigger hit, grossing nearly Rs 342 crore globally.
Meanwhile, the Malayalam franchise has already moved ahead with Drishyam 3, starring Mohanlal and directed by Jeethu Joseph. Released on May 21, 2026, the film opened to around Rs 43.37 crore worldwide and later crossed Rs 242 crore globally, making it the highest-grossing film in the Drishyam franchise so far.
With the title and release date confirmed, Drishyam: The Conclusion will bring Vijay Salgaonkar's story and his final fight to protect his family to an end.
