Awarapan 2 and Batwara 1947 entered their second weekend with very different box office momentum. While the Emraan Hashmi-starrer continues to stay well ahead, Sunny Deol's film has seen a comparatively slower run.
After 10 days in theatres, here's where Awarapan 2 and Batwara 1947 stand at the box office.
Day 10 Collection
On Day 10, Awarapan 2 brought in Rs 8.75 crore net in India, a 6.1% rise from the previous day. Batwara 1947 also saw a jump, collecting Rs 1.30 crore net, up 13% from the day before.
Total India Collection
Awarapan 2 has collected Rs 136.25 crore net in India, while Batwara 1947 stands at Rs 36.80 crore.
The gap between the two films has now widened to Rs 99.45 crore, with Awarapan 2 continuing to lead the box office clash by a huge margin.
Worldwide Collection
Awarapan 2 has grossed Rs 162.50 crore in India and earned Rs 30.30 crore overseas, including Rs 1.50 crore on Day 10, taking its worldwide total to Rs 192.80 crore on Day 10.
In comparison, Batwara 1947 has collected Rs 43.67 crore gross in India and Rs 8.85 crore overseas, with Rs 0.50 crore coming in on Day 10. Its worldwide collection currently stands at Rs 52.52 crore.
Opening Weekend Comparison
The difference between the two releases was visible from the opening day itself. Awarapan 2 opened with Rs 22 crore, while Batwara 1947 collected Rs 5.75 crore.
Both films saw a jump on Day 2 i.e. first Saturday during the Independence Day weekend. Awarapan 2 earned Rs 33.75 crore, while Batwara 1947 collected Rs 13.50 crore.
On Sunday, the Emraan Hashmi-starrer added Rs 26 crore, compared with Rs 7.25 crore earned by the Sunny Deol film.

The Days That Followed
The gap continued through the weekdays. Awarapan 2 collected Rs 9.25 crore on Day 4 and Rs 9.75 crore on Day 5, while Batwara 1947 earned Rs 2 crore and Rs 2.25 crore, respectively.
Both films slowed down later in the week. Awarapan 2 collected Rs 6.75 crore on Day 6 and Rs 6 crore on Day 7, while Batwara 1947 earned Rs 1.50 crore and Rs 1.35 crore.
The second weekend brought some growth for both films. Awarapan 2 collected Rs 5.75 crore on Day 8, Rs 8.25 crore on Day 9 and Rs 8.75 crore on second Sunday i.e. Day 10. Batwara 1947 earned Rs 0.75 crore, Rs 1.15 crore and Rs 1.30 crore over the same period.
