Drake has released not one but three albums, marking one of the most ambitious release strategies of his career. The Toronto superstar dropped 'Iceman', 'Maid of Honour' and 'Habibti' together, delivering 43 new tracks to fans worldwide.

Massive Three-Album Release

Iceman, the most anticipated album and also considered Drake's ninth album, features 18 tracks. It includes collaborations with Future, 21 Savage, and Molly Santana. The album arrives after extensive teasing that began in 2025, highlighted by marketing strategies such as a large ice block installation in downtown Toronto. A hidden folder containing the official release date for Iceman was embedded inside the large ice block. Streamer Kishka discovered the bag during the promotional event. Drake soon confirmed the May 15 release on his social media.

Drake first began teasing the project in 2025 with the launch of his 'Iceman Episode 1' livestream on YouTube, where he previewed several new tracks, including 'What Did I Miss?'. Later, in two additional livestreams, he introduced the singles 'Which One' and 'Dog House'. Notably, the previously released singles 'Which One' and 'Dog House' did not make the final cut for any of the three new albums, while 'What Did I Miss?' was included on Iceman.

'Maid of Honour' consists of 14 songs with collaborative energy from guests including Central Cee, Sexyy Red, Popcaan, Iconic Savvy, and Stunna Sandy. Meanwhile, 'Habibti' offers 11 tracks featuring contributions from Sexyy Red, PartyNextDoor, and Loe Shimmy.

All three albums dropped simultaneously following the conclusion of Drake's fourth Iceman livestream on Thursday night. The artist surprised fans by sharing three separate Instagram posts, one dedicated to each album.

Drake's Comeback

This release marks Drake's first major comeback since 'For All the Dogs' in 2023 and his 2024 rap battle with Kendrick Lamar, marking the new music project as a bold statement of creative comeback.

If any of the three albums debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, Drake would earn his 15th record of topping the chart, breaking the current tie with Jay-Z for the most No. 1 albums by a rapper. Additionally, the huge three-album release can help Drake dominate the top three spots on next week's Billboard 200 chart. While Michael Jackson is the only artist to have previously held the top three positions simultaneously, Drake would make history as the first to achieve this milestone with three new albums debuting at the same time.
