The album, released on Friday, features 14 tracks and the first song, Swim, is out now. Upon its release, the album made history on Spotify, where Arirang crossed 5 million pre-saves.
The comeback is big because it brings all seven members of BTS back together after nearly four years. During these years, each member explored solo projects and completed their mandatory military service, making Arirang feel less like just another album and more like a fresh chapter for both the group and their fans, known as BTS Army.

The music video of the song is set on a ship in the middle of the sea. It follows a woman who appears lost and struggling. The BTS members are seen beside her, offering support and guidance rather than intervention. The final moment, where she breaks free from a tight necklace, is shown as a clear symbol of strength and release.
The video also features a special appearance by Lili Reinhart, adding a global crossover element. It is directed by Tanu Muino, known for her visually rich and stylised storytelling.
BTS' Event To Arirang's Release
To mark the release, BTS is set to host a special live event at Gwanghwamun Square as part of BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG. The performance will be streamed globally on Netflix on March 21, with Indian viewers able to tune in at 4:30 PM. The event will mark a worldwide celebration of their return.
The group will head to the United States next week where they will appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, hosted by Jimmy Fallon.
