Nearly two decades after the madness of Welcome first hit screens, Akshay Kumar has reignited excitement around the franchise with a fresh tease from Welcome To The Jungle.
Taking to his social media, the actor on Wednesday shared a fresh glimpse from the upcoming comedy entertainer.
The newly shared image features Akshay Kumar making a stylish entry through a dense jungle backdrop. Wearing a sharp black suit and sunglasses, the actor walks confidently along a red carpet placed in the middle of the wilderness while sunlight filters dramatically through the trees behind him. The visual instantly grabbed attention online, with many calling it a “blockbuster-ready” first look.

The upcoming film is the third instalment in the beloved Welcome franchise, which began with the 2007 blockbuster directed by Anees Bazmee. The original Welcome went on to achieve cult status for its hilarious characters, comic confusion and memorable dialogues. Its sequel, Welcome Back, followed in 2015, and now the franchise is returning with a fresh adventure-driven setup that appears to blend jungle action with classic Bollywood comedy.

Directed by Ahmed Khan, the film boasts one of the biggest ensemble casts seen in recent Bollywood comedy films. Along with Akshay Kumar, the movie stars Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Arshad Warsi, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade, among many others.
The teaser image has already triggered a wave of reactions across social media. Fans called the visuals “full blockbuster vibes” and praised the film's nostalgic feel. Many users expressed excitement about experiencing the film in theatres, while others described it as the kind of “family entertainer Bollywood has been missing.” Several viewers also pointed out the teaser's energetic tone, iconic vibe and nostalgic music, with some saying they were already “obsessed with the energy” and eager to relive the madness of the franchise once again.
Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar continues to enjoy a busy 2026 lineup following the success of Bhooth Bangla, with Welcome to the Jungle shaping up to be one of his biggest commercial releases of the year.
The film is currently scheduled for a theatrical release on June 26, 2026.
