The excitement around Dhurandhar 2, officially titled Dhurandhar: The Revenge, is building as advance bookings for the film have now opened nationwide. After receiving a strong response to its paid preview shows, the makers have started regular ticket bookings ahead of the film's theatrical release on March 19.
On Saturday, lead actor Ranveer Singh announced the news on social media by sharing a new poster featuring his character, Hamza. Along with the post, he wrote, “LET THE GAMES BEGIN. Advance bookings for Dhurandhar The Revenge are open nationwide. Book your tickets now.” The film is scheduled to release worldwide during the festive period of Gudi Padwa, Ugadi and Eid.
Ticket Details and Show Timings
Ticket bookings for the movie are now live on major ticketing platforms across India. According to listings on BookMyShow, theatres in several cities have scheduled early morning screenings due to the high demand.
The first shows are expected to begin between 6:15 AM and 6:30 AM in major cities, depending on the location. Meanwhile, late-night shows are scheduled around 11:30 PM to 11:45 PM, with some theatres even planning screenings close to midnight.
Film With An Extended Runtime
Reports suggest that Dhurandhar 2 will have a runtime of around 235 minutes, close to nearly 3 hours and 55 minutes. Some regions may screen a slightly shorter version of about 3 hours and 40 minutes.
If the longer runtime is confirmed, the sequel will be even longer than the first film, which had a duration of 214 minutes and was already considered one of the longest mainstream releases in recent years. With late-night screenings starting close to midnight, some shows may end near 4 AM, depending on theatre intervals.
Strong Buzz At The Box Office
According to early estimates by Sacnilk, the paid preview screenings of Dhurandhar 2 are expected to earn around Rs 32.34 crore in India, including blocked seats.
Trade sources indicate strong advance bookings in key cities. Mumbai has already sold nearly 50% of tickets for the initial shows, while Hyderabad is approaching 75% occupancy. Meanwhile, Bengaluru has crossed around 60% ticket sales ahead of the film's release.

Positive Response Overseas
The film is also seeing strong demand overseas. According to Venky Box Office, Dhurandhar 2 has already crossed $1 million in U.S. premiere advance bookings, with over 67,000 tickets sold across 690 locations.
Trade experts say the rapid ticket sales show massive excitement for Dhurandhar 2, with some even comparing the pre-release buzz to Baahubali 2, hinting at a potentially record-breaking opening.
