The excitement around Ranveer Singh's upcoming film Dhurandhar: The Revenge continues to grow as the movie records impressive advance bookings. The film has already earned Rs 19.01 crore through advance ticket sales for its premiere shows, signalling a strong start at the box office, according to the latest trade data reported in Sacnilk.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the spy-action sequel has generated massive interest following the release of its high-energy trailer and the announcement of paid preview screenings. The early response suggests that audiences are eager to watch the film on the big screen, making it one of the most anticipated Bollywood releases of the year.
The film has sold over 3.56 lakh tickets across 8,371 shows nationwide for its preview screenings alone. When blocked seats are included, the total gross collection rises to approximately Rs 24.2 crore.
The Hindi 2D version alone accounts for Rs 18.51 crore in collections, with the average ticket price reported at around Rs 414. Apart from the Hindi belt, the film is also seeing encouraging response in the South Indian markets, where Tamil and Telugu versions are adding to the overall ticket sales.

With the strong early numbers, the film has surpassed the preview show record previously held by Stree 2, making it the highest-grossing Bollywood film in terms of paid preview collections so far.
Speaking to Variety India about the response, Gautam Dutta, CEO of PVR INOX, said the film is designed for the theatrical experience.
“Films like Dhurandhar: The Revenge are made for the scale, sound and emotion that only cinemas can deliver,” Dutta said, adding that the response from moviegoers has been overwhelming. Due to the strong demand, the multiplex chain has also expanded the number of shows to accommodate audiences.
Dutta further revealed that PVR INOX alone has sold more than 1.5 lakh tickets for the film's advance bookings, highlighting the strong turnout expected for the preview screenings.
Backed by B62 Studios and Jio Studios, Dhurandhar: The Revenge features a star-studded cast including Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, R. Madhavan, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi.
With the current buzz and strong advance bookings, the film is expected to perform strongly when it releases.
