Melania Trump has announced a $7.2 million scholarship endowment to support students who have grown up in foster care, enhancing her 'Fostering the Future' initiative to provide better access to children to pursue higher education. The announcement was made in Louisiana ahead of the Louisiana State-Alabama game, where the First Lady received a warm reception from the crowd. She was shown on the stadium's Jumbotron waving from a box alongside members of the Louisiana National Guard.
The endowment will help foster youth cover tuition and other education-related expenses, offering them greater financial stability as they pursue college degrees.
