What’s Ghosn On? Cringeworthy Puns Light Up Twitter

(Bloomberg) -- Carlos Ghosn has generated a storm of tweets after the former head of Nissan Motor Co. and Renault SA, who was facing trial in Japan for financial crimes, fled to Lebanon despite being under round-the-clock surveillance.

While most of the discussion has involved sharing news articles or commenting on the situation, there's been a notable collection of people taking advantage of the similar pronunciation between Ghosn and “gone.”
