Raja Shivaji Box Office Collection Day 14: Marathi Version Outperforms Hindi As Riteish Deshmukh Film Earns This Much

The Marathi version of Raja Shivaji continued to dominate the film's overall performance on Day 14, while the Hindi version saw comparatively lower occupancy and collections.

Raja Shivaji, directed by and starring Riteish Deshmukh, continues to hold screens across the country, although collections have seen a noticeable drop on Day 14.

The film has collected around Rs 0.58 crore net in India so far on its second Thursday as per Sacnilk. With this, the movie's total India net collection has reached approximately Rs 75.63 crore, while the overall India gross stands at nearly Rs 89.56 crore.

The film is currently running in 1,948 shows nationwide. Compared to the opening week, the number of screenings has reduced significantly, especially for the Hindi version.

Overall occupancy for Day 14 remained on the lower side. The Marathi 2D version recorded nearly 7.43% occupancy during morning shows, while the Hindi 2D version reported around 4.08%.

The Marathi version contributed the majority of Day 14 collections, earning around Rs 0.43 crore from 954 shows with overall occupancy close to 13%. The Hindi version collected approximately Rs 0.15 crore from 994 shows, with occupancy staying around 7%.

Pune Leads Marathi Markets

Among Marathi-speaking regions, Pune once again emerged as the strongest market for the film with nearly 13% occupancy across 352 shows. Mumbai, which had the highest number of Marathi screenings at 490 shows, recorded around 7% occupancy.

Sangli registered nearly 8% occupancy despite limited screenings, while Aurangabad and Nashik stayed around 7%. Nagpur remained relatively slow with occupancy close to 6%.

For the Hindi version, Pune again reported the best response at around 11% occupancy from 27 shows. Jaipur followed with nearly 6%, while NCR, Mumbai, Kolkata and Lucknow stayed at around 5%. However, larger circuits such as Ahmedabad, Surat and Chandigarh remained weak with occupancy hovering between 2-3%. Hyderabad and Bengaluru reported around 4% occupancy.

Film Maintains Strong Overall Run

The film had opened strongly on May 1 with Rs 11.35 crore on Day 1 from over 6,000 shows. It maintained momentum during its first weekend with collections of Rs 10.55 crore on Saturday and Rs 12 crore on Sunday.

By the end of Week 1, Raja Shivaji had earned Rs 52.65 crore net in India. While collections dipped during weekdays, the film bounced back slightly in its second weekend with Rs 5.60 crore on Day 9 and Rs 6.80 crore on Day 10.

Raja Shivaji tells the story of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and his rise as the founder of Hindavi Swarajya.

The historical action drama also stars Sanjay Dutt, Abhishek Bachchan, Fardeen Khan, Vidya Balan and Genelia Deshmukh in important roles.
