US President Donald Trump made fresh statements on Iran and said that the "entire country (Iran) could be taken in one night and that night could be tomorrow."
US President Donald Trump offered rare praise for Iran's military, but underlined that Tuesday's deadline for truce is "final".
"The enemy is strong, not so strong like they were about a month ago," he remarked.
Trump repeated his ultimatum of demolishing Iran's bridges and power plants if it did not "yield" to the US. He also stated that he was interested in taking the country's oil reserves.

Iran demanded a protocol for safe passage through the strait of Hormuz according to IRNA reports cited by Bloomberg. The country also demanded lifting of sanctions and reconstruction as a part of its deal with the US regarding the war.
Iran has rejected calls for a ceaesfire in its reply to the US via Pakistan according to the Islamic Republic News Agency as cited by Bloomberg. The country instead called for a permanent end to the war. According to Iranian television, the country's reply consists of ten clauses.
The Israeli Defence Forces said that it struck "dozens " of Iran Air Force planes in Tehran according to Bloomberg.

Israel's Defence Minister Israel Katz said that the country has struck Iran's "biggest petrochemical facility" in Asaluyeh as per Bloomberg.
Iran has launched a new wave of missiles towards Israel according to the Islamic Republic Of Iran broadcasting as cited by Bloomberg.
Iran has struck the United Arab Emirates' maritime hub Sharjah over US interests in the region as per Bloomberg.
Amid heightened tensions in the Middle East, Iran has adopted special measures to ensure the safe passage of vessels belonging to friendly countries, including India, Iran's Ambassador to India, Mohammad Fathali, told news agency ANI.
Israeli rescue services reported that several sites were hit by missiles launched from Iran toward multiple cities in the centre of Israel. In Petah Tikva, paramedics provided medical treatment to an injured woman in serious condition with a chest injury from shrapnel and evacuated her to the Beilinson Hospital.
Firefighters in that city are handling cars on fire and continue searching to ensure there are no people trapped in the rubble. In Tel Aviv, a man slightly injured by glass shrapnel was evacuated to the Ichilov Hospital.
Footage provided by the rescue service Magen David Adom shows damage to residential buildings due to the attack. Meanwhile, Israel's military warned the public Monday morning of another missile barrage coming from Iran, the fourth such alert of the day.

South Korea plans to send at least five ships to Saudi Arabia's Yanbu port in the coming weeks to establish new oil transport routes in the Red Sea. The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Resources said on Monday the ships will be deployed in phases beginning in mid-April, and the number of vessels could increase depending on contracts with Saudi partners.
Officials did not disclose the companies involved but said some domestic refiners may use non-Korean shipping firms.
South Korea also plans to send special envoys to Saudi Arabia, Oman and Algeria to step up diplomatic efforts to secure alternative fuel supplies, ruling party lawmaker Ahn Do-geol said. The foreign ministry did not immediately reveal when the envoys would be sent.

An Iranian drone attack damaged a telecommunications building in Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates on Monday, the state-run WAM news agency reported. The attack targeted a building of the state-funded du telecom company. No one was injured, WAM reported, quoting officials in Fujairah.

Iran won’t reopen the Strait of Hormuz in exchange for a "temporary ceasefire", a senior Iranian official told Reuters news agency, adding that Tehran views Washington as lacking the readiness for a permanent ceasefire.

Majid Khademi, the head of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards’ Intelligence Organisation, has been killed, according to Iranian state media.
Official Ministry of Health spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sindi said that the Ministry's Central Operations Room received reports early this morning of the fall of projectiles and shrapnel in one of the residential areas north of the country as a result of the heinous Iranian aggression.
- Medical emergency teams and ambulance services initiated immediate response to the incident, which resulted in six injuries, including superficial wounds, temporary auditory effects due to the loud noises, and fall-related cases linked to the explosion.
- All cases received the necessary medical care in accordance with approved protocols and are stable, with no recording of any serious complications.

With the Middle East war entering its sixth week and US President Donald Trump issuing an expletive-laden threat to Iran over the Strait of Hormuz closure, Iran's parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said "our whole region is going to burn because you insist on following Netanyahu's commands."
The state-run IRAN daily newspaper said in an online message that an airstrike in a residential area of Qom killed at least five people. Qom is a holy Shiite seminary city just south of Tehran. It wasn't unclear what the target of the strike was. Iran has not provided overall casualty figures from the war in days. It also hasn't discussed its materiel losses.

It is still unclear whether those were direct hits or damage from falling shrapnel from interceptions.
The missile strikes comes a day after another attack from Iran also hit a Haifa residential area, killing two people and injuring others. Two people were still trapped in the rubble caused by the Sunday attack and their fate is unknown.
From Sunday into Monday across Iran, local media and activists reported strikes on Ahvaz, Bandar Lengeh, Karaj and Shiraz. The strikes in Bandar Lengeh and Kong killed at least six people and wounded 17 others, the state-run IRAN newspaper said.
Another airstrike in southeastern Tehran hit a home, killing at least three people, Iranian state TV reported.
The Strait of Hormuz is described in absolutes. It is either on the brink of closure or safely open for business. A recent field investigation by Citrini Research suggests that this binary thinking misses what is actually happening in the narrow channel through which roughly a fifth of the world's oil normally flows.

Bahrain's foreign minister Abdullatif bin Rashid al-Zayani wrote in a statement that Iran's weekslong chokehold on the critical waterway has created an “escalating crisis that threatens global stability, food security, and the foundational principles of international law”.

Ebrahim Zolfaghari added that several US military aircraft entered Iranian airspace to carry out a rescue operation for the pilot of a downed US fighter jet, but said Iranian fighters and air defence systems struck the aircraft and forced them to make an emergency landing in an area south of Isfahan.
A regional intelligence official, who was briefed on the covert mission and who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss it, said the US military blew up two transport planes due to a technical malfunction that forced them to bring in additional aircraft to complete the rescue.
