Davos 2026: Seven Indian Corporate Titans To Join Trump's Exclusive Industrialist Summit — Check Details

As part of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2026 in Davos, Switzerland, Seven of India's most prominent industrialists are expected to join a select group of 146 global corporate leaders for a meeting with US President Donald Trump on Wednesday, NDTV Profit can exclusively reveal.

The high-level session is set to take place from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Jan. 21 during the World Economic Forum. The Indian contingent features a powerful cross-section of the country's tech and industrial sectors, including Tata Sons Chairman N. Chandrasekaran, Wipro CEO Srini Pallia, and Bharti Enterprises Founder Sunil Bharti Mittal.

Some of the other participants include Mahindra Group CEO Dr Anish Shah, Bajaj Finserv Chairman Sanjiv Bajaj, Jubilant Bhartia Group Co-Chairman Hari S. Bhartia, and Infosys CEO Salil Parekh.

This meeting, albeit also comprising several other business leaders across the world, comes at a time when both the US and India are locked in negotiations over a trade deal, which, once ratified, could go a long way in lifting the sentiment in the market.

Recent developments have indicated that relations between the two countries with regard to the trade deal negotiations have softened, and an announcement could be just around the corner. But the final concrete development remains elusive.

Meanwhile, Trump is among the marquee attendees of the World Economic Forum in Davos this year, alongside the likes of JP Morgan CEO Jamie Dimon, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has notably remained absent from this year's WEF.
