Ali Larjani, a top security official from Iran, has threatened US President Donald Trump, asking him to be 'careful' and 'not get eliminated'.
Larjani posted the message on social media platform X, after Trump threatened to attack Iran “TWENTY TIMES HARDER” if Tehran stopped oil flowing through the Strait of Hormuz.
“The sacrificial nation of Iran does not fear your empty threats,” Larjani wrote in his X Post, “Even those bigger than you could not eliminate Iran. Be careful not to get eliminated yourself.”

“If Iran does anything that stops the flow of Oil within the Strait of Hormuz, they will be hit by the United States of America TWENTY TIMES HARDER than they have been hit thus far,” Trump wrote.
Iran has ensured that the Strait, a strategic maritime chokepoint responsible for the transportation of one-fifth of the world's crude oil, remained closed. Its closure has pushed oil prices to as high as $120 per barrel.
The Strait is also a crucial passage for food to be brought into the Gulf countries, which import 90% of their food from other nations. Dubai is facing an imminent shortage of fresh food as the Strait remains closed.
