Netweb Technologies is accelerating its push into India's fast‑growing artificial intelligence ecosystem with the launch of a new edge inferencing device, designed to bring AI processing closer to where data is generated.
The company's Chairman and Managing Director, Sanjay Lodha, told NDTV Profit that the product has been built to meet rising demand from sectors such as colleges, railways and government agencies, all of which are rapidly adopting AI-driven systems for efficiency and automation.
Lodha said Netweb has traditionally operated as an enterprise‑focused company, supplying high‑performance computing systems, storage solutions and specialised technologies to large institutions. However, with AI workloads shifting closer to the source of data, the company sees significant opportunity in edge deployment. "It is easier and more efficient to do inferencing at the edge rather than send everything to the cloud," he said, adding that the new device is positioned as a scalable solution for real‑world AI integration.

The freshly launched product, Tyrol Spark, is built on Nvidia's GFX technology, reinforcing Netweb's long-standing relationship with the global chip powerhouse. Lodha revealed that the partnership with Nvidia is over a decade old, and Netweb is not just a customer but an OEM partner, designing and manufacturing Nvidia-powered systems entirely in India. "We work and design on Nvidia's architecture. Our systems are at par with global design standards," he said.
Netweb is also working on Nvidia's latest Blackwell series, the company's newest generation of GPUs built for high-intensity AI workloads. Lodha added that Netweb currently holds "all the sets of the latest GPUs and systems," allowing it to build cutting‑edge platforms for both enterprise and public sector clients.
With AI adoption climbing across education, transportation and government infrastructure, Netweb sees edge inferencing as the next major frontier. The company expects Tyrol Spark to help institutions collect and process data locally, enabling faster insights, enhanced security and reduced bandwidth costs.
As India scales up its AI ambitions, Netweb intends to position itself as a key enabler — from advanced GPU systems to compact, deployable edge devices.
