Bengaluru FC and Mumbai City FC played out a 0-0 draw in a cagey Indian Super League clash at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium on Saturday, April 25, a result that keeps both sides in the title mix but offers neither side clear momentum.
Despite dominating possession, Bengaluru FC failed to register a single shot on target across 90 minutes. Pep Munoz's side controlled 66.3% of the ball and won seven corners, but lacked cutting edge in the final third. Mumbai City FC, attacked on the counter and managed three shots on target but were unable to convert in a contest defined by defensive discipline and limited attacking clarity.
The stalemate leaves the upper half of the table tightly packed. FC Goa's 2-0 win over NorthEast United a day earlier had taken them to 19 points, they're level with Mumbai City FC but lead the Islanders courtesy a superior goal difference.
Bengaluru FC remain fourth with 16 points, closely followed by East Bengal on 15 points, however the Red & Gold Brigade have played two games less and could rise up the table to challenge their local rivals at the top.

Mohun Bagan SG lead the pack with 20 points from nine matches, are the primary beneficiaries of this round, retaining top spot with a game in hand over the chasing pack and the opportunity to extend their lead.
With the ISL trophy awarded to the team finishing top of the standings, the stakes remain significant going into the final sprint. The table-toppers will also secure direct qualification to the AFC Champions League 2 group stage, adding further weight to an increasingly compressed title race.
