Two-wheeler and tractor wholesales were below our estimates, whereas the same for passenger vehicles/commercial vehicles was largely in line.
While demand for PVs sustain, volume growth continues to reflect supply chain issues. Demand momentum in CVs continues, but there are no signs of recovery in the two-wheeler segment.
Among two-wheelers, monthly volumes for Hero MotoCorp Ltd./Royal Enfield was below our estimate, but was in line for Bajaj Auto Ltd./TVS Motor Company Ltd.
Two-wheeler/tractor volumes declined by ~18%/35% YoY, whereas the same for PVs/CVs grew 7%/5% YoY. Three-wheeler volumes were flat YoY.
