Hindalco Industries Ltd. logged a consolidated net profit of Rs 2,049 crore sequentially in the quarter ended December 2025, marking a 56.8% downturn as compared to Rs 4,741 crore in the previous quarter, according to the consolidated financial results declared on Thursday.
The mining company's revenue saw a rise of 0.7% to Rs. 66,521 crore compared to the previous quarter's Rs 66,058 crore. Its earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation was down 10.8% at Rs. 7,994 crore from the prior financial year's Rs 8,996 crore. The Ebitda margin was at 12% from 13.6% in the last quarter.
A one-time cost of Rs 2,610 crore in the third quarter weighed on the firm's overall profit. This cost was due to a fire in the company's Oswego plant in New York.

The upstream aluminium quarterly Ebitda was at Rs 4,832 crore, up 14% whil the aluminium downstream quarterly Ebidta was at Rs. 233 crore, up 55%, the company's press release said.
"We made strong progress across our downstream portfolio with the commissioning and ramping up of key projects including Aditya FRP (flat rolled product aluminum plant), battery foil, AC fin-coating, and Copper tubes, positioning us well for emerging growth opportunities," .Satish Pai, managing director, Hindalco Industries said.
The firm's consolidated net debt to Ebidta was at 1.73x as of Dec. 31, 2025 compared 1.33x a year ago as per the firm's press release.
Before the quarterly results were declared, shares of Hindalco Industries Ltd. closed 0.65% lower at Rs 964.40 apiece on the NSE, compared to a 0.57% fall in the benchmark Nifty.
