This is not the first time Priyanka has visited the Golden Temple. She has been there before as well and has taken part in seva on earlier occasions too.
Her visit comes soon after she returned to India following her appearance at the Oscars 2026. Over the past few days, she has been sharing small glimpses of her time in Punjab. From views of green fields during her journey to enjoying local food like chole and kulchas, her posts have given fans a look into her trip. One such post was captioned, “Just Amritsar things…”.
The reason for her visit to Amritsar has not been officially confirmed yet. However, there is speculation that it could be connected to her upcoming film Varanasi, directed by S. S. Rajamouli. The film also stars Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran and is expected to release in April 2027.
For now, it is her quiet act of seva at the Golden Temple that people are talking about, with many saying it shows a different, more personal side of the actor.
