Scene Plot
Scene follows Suriya as Deputy Superintendent of Police Inbaraj, marking his return to the rank after previously portraying similar roles in the Singam film series. The film blends action and comedy, while the makers have kept further details of the storyline under wraps ahead of its theatrical release.
Scene Cast And Crew
Written and directed by Jithu Madhavan, Scene stars Suriya in the lead role. The film is produced by Suriya, Jyothika and Jaishree Damodaran under Zhagaram Studios and 2D Entertainment.

Suriya plays a Deputy Superintendent. Nazriya Nazim portrays Maya, while Naslen plays Eeswaran. The supporting cast includes Anandaraj, Lal, John Vijay, Raj Priyan and Mathialaghan. The project was initially announced in December 2025 under the working title Suriya 47, referring to Suriya's 47th film as a leading actor. The makers later unveiled its official title, Scene, in September 2026.

Nazriya and Naslen were officially announced as part of the lead cast on December 7, 2025. Nazriya had reportedly been in discussions for the female lead earlier, while the remaining cast members were subsequently confirmed for their respective roles.
The film features dialogues by Dravid Selvam. The technical crew includes Sushin Shyam as the music composer, Vineeth Augustian as the cinematographer and Ajmal Sabu as the editor.
Scene Production And Shooting
Principal photography began in December 2025, shortly after the project was announced. The makers filmed across locations in Chennai and Kerala before completing the shoot in July 2026.
Ahead of the theatrical release, Zhagaram Studios has been sharing updates about the project on social media. An X post shared by the production house read, “25 Days to go for the #SCENE Diwali!”, building anticipation around its festive release.

Scene Release Date
Scene is scheduled to release in theatres on November 6, 2026, coinciding with Diwali. It will be Suriya's third release of 2026, following Karuppu and Vishwanath & Sons. The overseas distribution rights have reportedly been acquired by Phars Films.
