Urvashi Rautela has been in Kuwait for a few days for professional commitments. However, her trip took an unexpected turn when the Iran–US conflict escalated into a wider regional crisis in the Middle East, heightening tensions across the area. As diplomatic relations deteriorated, several international flights were cancelled or rescheduled, and embassies issued updated travel advisories.
Given the uncertainty, Urvashi Rautela's team decided to cut short her Kuwait trip for safety reasons. After boarding her flight back to India, the actress shared her personal feelings online, expressing the anxiety she experienced during the situation.
In her Instagram Stories, she was reportedly seen wiping away tears as she wrote, "I was completely fine until the moment I sat on the plane... but as soon as I settled in, this sudden wave of fear came over me and my heart just started racing." She added that she didn't understand why she felt that way but was genuinely frightened.
Feeling vulnerable, she asked her followers to keep her in their prayers. "Right now I just feel a little vulnerable and anxious, and I really need your prayers. Please keep me in your thoughts for a safe journey. It would mean so much to me," she wrote. She also apologised to fans if she sounded emotional, saying she simply wanted to share what she was going through.
Reports state that the actress was grateful to airport staff and local authorities who helped passengers travel back safely. She later confirmed that she had reached Mumbai, sharing a video of herself in a car driving through the city.
Other Bollywood Celebrities Affected by Middle East Tensions
Apart from Urvashi Rautela, several other actors were also impacted by the crisis. Sonal Chauhan was stuck at Dubai International Airport and sought help from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Lara Dutta shared updates about her and her daughter, who are currently in Dubai. Meanwhile, actresses like Esha Gupta and Preity Zinta informed fans that they had returned to India safely amid the tense situation.
