This year, Ryan Coogler's ‘Sinners' leads the Oscars with 16 nominations, breaking the previous record of 14. Other top contenders include Hamnet, Sentimental Value, One Battle After Another and Frankenstein, all racing to win the best film of the year.
In the ‘Best Director' category, Ryan Coogler has been nominated for Sinners, while Paul Thomas Anderson has earned a nod for One Battle After Another, which is being seen as a strong contender for ‘Best Picture'.
