Actress Daisy Shah recently spoke about Palaash Muchhal and Smrithi Mandhana, following her candid appearance on an interview with Miss Malini. The actress opened up about her project with Palaash Muchhal and addressed the recent events that took place surrounding Palaash and Smrithi.
Daisy Shah sat down for an interview with Miss Malini as she covered various topics that also included her upcoming projects. When asked about the signing of a film with Palaash Muchhal as director, Daisy Shah said, "I got 2-3 calls from random people saying that there's a movie that Palaash is making and he is wanting you to be a part of the movie. And I am like Palaash knows me personally because I am really good friend with Palak.... I was like why am I getting a call or a message from a random person whom I don't know."
“So, I happened to drop a message to Palash, Palash I am getting such messages, is it true? So he called me and said, ‘yeah ma'am this is true, but because of the situation that had been going on lately, I am not calling personally anybody that's because it might go on a different tangent altogether'.”

When asked about whether the actress was sceptical about signing the film with Palaash, following his controversies, Daisy said, “I can switch off from personal life to professional life, and I don't think your personal life should affect your professional life."
"First of all, I don't know what is the actual story. There are always two sides to a coin and we really don't know what went wrong because it is between two families, and between 4-5 people who actually know what the truth is. We are sitting here and judging from what we heard from the media houses.
"We don't know what the actual truth is, and that doesn't mean that I am nullifying the woman's side of the story. I'm just being neutral. Also, he contacted me on a professional level. It was a professional meeting. So, who am I to even judge a book by its cover?” she said.
Talking about the then-wedding, Daisy Shah said she didn't know about the wedding. She came across the Sangeet videos on her social media. She then said that she lives in a cocoon and wasn't aware.
She then added on to say, “I hope everything gets well on both sides, and they come together because they actually make a lovely pair.”
Daisy Shah featured in the action drama thriller Bihu Attack, which released on January 16. Additionally, she is set to feature in Palaash Muchhal's film along with Shreyas Talpade.
