New Delhi: Hinduja Group flagship company Ashok Leyland on Tuesday reported a 28 per cent increase in total sales at 12,533 units last month.
The company had sold 9,803 units in October 2015.
Sales of heavy and medium commercial vehicles rose 33 per cent to 9,574 units last month as against 7,176 units in the corresponding period a year ago, the company said in a statement.
Light commercial vehicle sales grew 13 per cent to 2,959 units in October 2016 as compared to 2,627 units in October last year, it added.
